Threat Intelligence Portal (TIP)
How it works
What is a Threat Intelligence Portal (TIP)?
A Threat Intelligence Portal (TIP) is an online platform that helps organizations detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats more effectively. It acts as a central hub where all relevant threat intelligence data comes together — such as malicious IP addresses, domains, URLs, and file hashes — making it easier to track threats and protect your digital environment.
Traditional security tools often work in silos. A TIP brings everything together in one place, helping your firewall, SIEM, EDR, or SOAR system work smarter. It gives security teams access to real-time insights, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and context — so they can respond faster and with confidence.
With a TIP, you can:
-
Search for recent threat hits on your network
-
Get detailed information about suspicious IPs, domains, and URLs
-
See how threats evolve over time
-
Enrich security events with context from external feeds
- Get access to customer support in case you experience a false postive
-
Integrate with security solutions via API or TAXII/STIX

Threat Lookup Proces
Step 1
Step 1: Threat Lookup
Begin by collecting the IOCs you’ve observed in your firewall or SIEM logging. Once you have list available you can proceed with step 2.
Step 2
Step 2: Collect context
Within the Q-Feeds Threat Intelligence Portal you can do a single- or bulk search on these IOCs. As easy as copy and paste.
Step 3
Step 3: Take action
Depending on the context our TIP describes on those IOCs you can take your mitigation actions. Either block, clean or observe your IT environment to create a safer digital workspace.
